Creator Terms

Effective October 27, 2026

These Terms apply if you publish or sell guides on RideHop. They supplement the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. DRESH LLC operates RideHop AI and is your counterparty under these Terms.

1. Your role and RideHop’s

  • You are the seller. You sell your guides directly to buyers. Your seller name appears on the guide page (“Sold by”) and on the receipt.
  • RideHop provides the software to publish and get paid, payment infrastructure through Stripe, and a support and escalation channel at support@ridehop.ai. RideHop is not the seller of your guides.

You accept these Terms in the Studio payments panel before connecting Stripe. We record the version you accepted and the date.

2. Requirements to publish

  • You need a RideHop account and a creator profile. Activating a creator profile is an explicit step; having Pro does not create a public profile automatically.
  • Publishing requires active Pro, either through a paid subscription (USD 6.99 per month or USD 71.88 per year) or through a Pro grant audited by RideHop (for example, Founding Creators). If Pro ends, publishing, updates and new sales pause. You can still unpublish, refund, view payments and get support. Your profile, drafts, followers, reviews and financial history are kept, and buyers keep the access they already have.
  • You must provide accurate seller details and a working support contact for buyers.

3. Stripe Connect onboarding

  • To sell paid guides, you must create and verify a Stripe connected account from RideHop, in one of the countries available during onboarding. Stripe asks for and verifies your identity, tax and bank details. RideHop does not receive your full bank details.
  • Your Stripe account has full access to the Stripe Dashboard and is also governed by the Stripe services agreements you accept during onboarding.
  • Payments are direct charges on your Stripe account, in USD and by card. Your account’s Radar rules and fraud prevention apply to your sales.

4. Price, commission and payouts

  • You set the price of each guide in USD.
  • RideHop commission: 30% of the guide price, withheld as an application fee on each sale. Stripe processing fees are separate: Stripe charges them and you pay them.
  • Example: on a USD 20 guide, the commission is USD 6 and you keep USD 14 before processing fees, applicable taxes and approved credits.
  • Commission credits: RideHop may grant promotional credits that reduce the commission on future sales. They cannot be withdrawn or transferred and cannot be used to buy guides. An unfinished checkout session can reserve credits for up to 35 minutes.
  • Payouts: Stripe pays your balance out to your bank account according to your Stripe account’s schedule and rules.

5. Refunds, disputes and buyer support

  • You are responsible for the quality of your guides, refund requests and disputes (chargebacks).
  • You agree to follow the Guide Refund Policy: a full refund when requested within 14 calendar days of payment, for any reason, even if the buyer already opened or copied the guide, without deducting processing fees. You may give additional or later refunds, and you must respect any rights the law gives the buyer.
  • Response time: you must acknowledge each request within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, Buenos Aires time, excluding local public holidays). If you don’t respond, the case is escalated to support@ridehop.ai. This deadline is for the first response; it is not a bank settlement deadline and does not extend Stripe’s dispute deadlines.
  • You refund from the order’s refund action in RideHop or from your Stripe Dashboard. Do not retry a pending refund or duplicate compensation.
  • Financial effects: refunds and disputes are debited from your Stripe balance. When a refund succeeds, RideHop returns its commission in cash and restores applied credits in proportion to the refunded amount. Stripe does not return the original processing fee. Even if Stripe absorbs negative balances that cannot be recovered, that does not remove your obligations to the buyer.
  • Buyer access: with a full refund, the buyer loses access to your content in every copy from that purchase and keeps what they added themselves. A partial refund alone does not end access.
  • Disputes: you handle them and respond within Stripe’s deadline. RideHop may provide evidence of delivery and access, and follows up on the case.

6. Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes: reporting your income and registering for, collecting and paying the taxes that apply to you as a seller. RideHop does not give tax advice, and checkout does not currently calculate taxes automatically.

If the law of any jurisdiction assigns tax obligations to RideHop as a platform, RideHop may meet them and adjust the sales process accordingly. We will tell you in advance whenever possible.

7. Your content

7.1 Ownership and warranties

You remain the owner of your guides, photos and text. You confirm that you have all the rights needed to publish and sell them, that they do not infringe anyone’s rights and that the information is truthful. Self-reported visits are shown as such and may not be presented as verified.

7.2 License to RideHop

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, technically adapt (for example, formatting and interface translation), display and distribute your content within the Service. This includes public pages, Explore, the discovery API and the read-only MCP (which show previews only, never paid detail) and the promotion of RideHop. You also allow us to deliver editable copies to buyers and to people who receive the guide free of charge from you. The license to promote and display ends when you unpublish. What buyers need remains in effect under §7.3.

7.3 Updates and unpublishing

You can update or unpublish your guides. Updates do not overwrite changes a buyer made in their copy. If you unpublish, new sales stop, but buyers with an active license keep access to their copies unless they receive a full refund or RideHop removes the content for a legal reason.

7.4 Removal by RideHop

We may hide or remove content or profiles that breach these Terms or the law, or that have been reported with good cause, and pause sales while we review them. Moderation decisions follow a uniform policy and are recorded.

8. Reviews and conduct

  • You can feature testimonials, reply to reviews and report them. You may not suppress legitimate negative reviews: the full history of valid reviews and the rating remain visible.
  • You may not offer rewards for positive reviews, or post or commission fake reviews.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • sell content you don’t own or that copies other people’s guides;
  • make misleading claims about the guide, your experience or your visits;
  • include other people’s personal data without permission, or illegal, discriminatory or dangerous content;
  • divert payments outside RideHop to avoid the commission on sales that originate on RideHop;
  • manipulate metrics (views, saves, followers, reviews);
  • breach the refund policy or ignore buyer requests.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify DRESH LLC against third-party claims arising from your content, your sales, your tax obligations or your breach of these Terms.

11. Founding Creators program

RideHop may invite creators to a Founding Creators program with complimentary Pro for 1 to 365 days, granted and audited individually. That Pro never charges you when it ends.

A commission reduction for the program’s first creators has not been defined yet. Until it is published in these Terms, the 30% commission applies.

12. Suspension, changes and termination

We may suspend sales or the account in case of a breach, fraud risk, or a legal or Stripe requirement. You can stop selling at any time, but your refund and dispute obligations for sales already made remain. If we change the commission or these Terms materially, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and ask you to accept the new version before you continue selling. Changes do not apply to earlier sales.

13. Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction are the same as in the Terms of Service (§12): the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
