Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026

These Terms explain what you can expect from RideHop, and what we expect from you, when you plan trips, buy guides or subscribe to Pro.

1. Who we are and what you accept

RideHop AI (“RideHop”) is a service operated by DRESH LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, located at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #18280, Casper, WY 82609, USA. Website: ridehop.ai. Contact: support@ridehop.ai.

These Terms govern your use of the RideHop website, web app and public APIs (the “Service”). By creating an account, using the Service or buying a guide, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you publish or sell guides, the Creator Terms also apply.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to create an account.

2. The Service

RideHop is a road trip planning tool: day-by-day itineraries, destinations, activities, routes and, depending on your plan, document storage and route optimization. It also includes a space (Explore) where independent creators publish free or paid travel guides, and public creator profiles with reviews and followers.

RideHop does not book transport, accommodation or activities, and is not a travel agency. Place information, maps, distances, times and estimated costs (for example, fuel) are approximate. Check schedules, road conditions, entry requirements and safety before you travel.

3. Plans and the Pro subscription

3.1 Free and Pro

  • Free: no cost. Includes 1 active personal trip, with unlimited destinations and activities and the full day-by-day planner. Does not include document storage.
  • Pro: USD 6.99 per month or USD 71.88 per year. Includes unlimited personal trips and documents, “Optimize this day” and the ability to publish as a creator while Pro is active.

The current features and limits of each plan are shown on the pricing page, which prevails over any difference in detail.

3.2 Complimentary Pro

Every new account gets 7 days of Pro at no cost and without a card. RideHop may also grant complimentary Pro by invitation or as part of programs such as Founding Creators. Complimentary Pro never turns into a paid subscription or charges you when it ends, and it does not change an existing paid subscription.

3.3 Renewal and cancellation

Paid Pro is charged in advance and renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual) at the current price until you cancel. You can cancel from your account settings or the pricing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

If we change the Pro price, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, and the change will apply from your next renewal.

3.4 Pro refunds

Pro payments are non-refundable: if you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for and you are not charged again. The 14-day guide refund policy does not apply to Pro. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

3.5 Moving to Free

If Pro ends (through cancellation, expiry or the end of complimentary access), nothing is deleted: your existing trips, edits and documents stay. Free limits apply to what you add or restore afterwards. If you are a creator, publishing, updates and new sales pause; you can still unpublish, refund, view payments and get support, and buyers keep access to what they already bought.

4. Buying guides

4.1 The creator is the seller

Paid guides are sold by the creator named on the guide page (“Sold by”) and on the payment receipt, not by RideHop. Payment is processed by Stripe on the creator’s behalf. RideHop, operated by DRESH LLC, provides the software, charges the creator a commission and offers a support and escalation channel at support@ridehop.ai.

4.2 What you buy

You buy a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use a digital itinerary and create editable copies of the trip inside RideHop. A purchase does not include transport, accommodation or activity bookings, and does not give you the right to resell, redistribute or publish the creator’s content.

While the license is active, copies from that purchase get Pro benefits in that trip only (documents and route optimization). A purchase does not give your account Pro or publishing rights, and purchased trips do not count toward the Free personal trip limit. A Pro subscription is a separate purchase.

4.3 Price and payment

Guide prices are set in USD and paid by card. The creator is responsible for the guide’s content, refund requests and payment disputes (chargebacks).

4.4 Use outside the platform

RideHop is not responsible for the marketing, distribution or resale of guides outside the platform. If you buy a guide, you agree that any screenshot, download or copy of its content used to sell or publish it outside RideHop falls outside the platform’s scope and responsibility, and also breaches your license (§4.2 and §7). RideHop is responsible only for protecting sales rights within the platform.

5. Guide refunds

The Guide Refund Policy applies and forms part of these Terms. In summary:

  • You can request a full refund within 14 calendar days of payment, for any reason, even after opening the guide or copying the trip.
  • Contact the creator using the seller details shown with your purchase, or write to support@ridehop.ai if you need help reaching them. The creator must acknowledge your request within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, Buenos Aires time, excluding local public holidays); if they don’t, the case is escalated to support@ridehop.ai.
  • The creator processes the refund. Processing fees are never deducted from your refund.
  • A full refund ends access to the creator’s content in every copy from that purchase. The trip and your own additions (personal notes, changes, activities, bookings and documents) remain and can be recovered. A Pro subscription does not restore refunded content. A partial refund alone does not end access.
  • Purchases made before the current revision keep the terms shown at payment.

If this summary differs from the Guide Refund Policy, the Policy prevails. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable law.

6. Your account

Authentication is handled by Clerk. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@ridehop.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes or to infringe the rights of others;
  • copy, resell, redistribute or publish paid guide content beyond what the license allows;
  • post fake reviews, offer or accept incentives for positive reviews, or impersonate anyone;
  • upload malware, unlawful content or other people’s personal data without permission;
  • access other people’s accounts, trips or data without permission, bypass plan limits or access controls, or overload the Service or its APIs (including the public API and the read-only MCP server);
  • scrape the Service at scale, except through the documented public APIs and within their limits.

We may hide reported content or profiles, and suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. Moderation decisions are recorded.

8. Content

  • Your private content (trips, notes, bookings, documents) is yours. You give us a limited license to host, process and display it only to provide the Service to you. Your personal trips are private unless you share them by link or publish them.
  • Public content (reviews, profile, trips you share or publish): you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it within the Service and its public views (including the discovery API and the read-only MCP, which never expose paid, unlisted or private content) for as long as it stays published.
  • Creator content belongs to its creator. Adapting it for your trip does not give you resale rights.
  • RideHop: the RideHop software, brand and design belong to DRESH LLC or its licensors. Map and place data comes from third parties (for example, Google Maps Platform, Mapbox and CARTO) and is subject to their own terms.

If you believe content infringes your rights, write to support@ridehop.ai identifying the work, the URL of the content and your contact details. We review every notice and may remove the content while we look into it.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers such as Clerk (accounts and Pro billing), Stripe (guide payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) and Amazon Web Services (files). Their use may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for failures caused solely by those third parties.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions, or the accuracy of routes, times, costs, place information or creator content.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DRESH LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or bookings, arising from use of the Service or from travel decisions. DRESH LLC’s total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of: (a) what you paid DRESH LLC in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. For guide purchases, the seller is the creator. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Wyoming. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence or of your right to bring a claim in its courts where the law allows.

13. Changes and termination

We may change these Terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you in the Service and, where appropriate, at your account email at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the Service after they take effect, you accept them. You can stop using the Service and cancel Pro at any time. Purchases already made keep the terms accepted at payment.
