Every RideHop plan includes a read-only share link. Visitors can view your route, stops and activities. Only the owner edits the trip; notes, dates, stays, costs and documents stay private.
One Link to Your Route
Send companions a single link to the route you have planned. They can view the stops and activities in their browser without changing your itinerary.
The shared page reads the saved trip when it opens. After you edit the trip, visitors can reload the link to see your saved changes. It does not update automatically while they are viewing it.
How Trip Sharing Works
Open the share control in your trip, create a link and copy it to send to your companions. Anyone with the link can view the route, stops and activities without signing in.
Only the trip owner can edit the itinerary or create and revoke its share link. Revoke the link from the same control to stop access through it.
What Visitors Can See
The shared page shows the trip title, route map, ordered stops and activity names with their durations. It is a view of your route, not access to the trip editor.
Private notes, travel dates, accommodations, booking details, costs and uploaded documents are excluded. Visitors cannot add stops, change the route or upload files.

Your Documents Stay Private
Pro lets the trip owner attach documents to a trip, stop or activity. Those documents are available to the owner and are never included in the read-only share page.
If a companion needs a reservation or ticket, send it separately using your preferred messaging or file-sharing tool. The trip link does not grant document access.
Costs Stay with the Owner
The owner can record accommodation costs, ticket costs for bus, train, flight and ferry legs, and fuel estimates for any driving legs. These amounts do not appear on the shared page.
RideHop does not split expenses or calculate what each traveler owes. Use a separate expense tool or your own calculations for group payments.
Sharing a Route with Your Group
Collect suggestions from your companions outside RideHop, then add the chosen stops and activities to your trip. Share the link so everyone can review the route.
Shared editing and automatic updates across viewers are not available. Visitors can reopen or reload the link to see the saved route.
